About me

I’m a UX/UI designer who thrives on turning complex systems into intuitive, human-centered experiences. My approach blends creativity and strategy—I love working closely with business teams to design solutions that are both user-friendly and aligned with organizational goals.

I studied biology at UC Berkeley, but my love for the arts field started much earlier—I grew up attending art school and have always been drawn to creative problem-solving. UX became the perfect bridge between my interests in science, art, and technology.

I launched my career at Tradecraft, a design consultancy for Bay Area startups, where I honed my craft in fast-paced, high-growth environments. From there, I joined Apple, collaborating with developers to shape Human Interface Guidelines and study UX patterns from around the world. Later, I moved to New York to design for healthcare at ActiveHealth, Aetna, and eventually CVS, where I focused on simplifying prescription management and creating digital tools that reduce friction for millions of users. I have since moved back to sunny California.

Outside of work, I’m happiest eating sweets, catching up on my anime, traveling in Seoul, or getting lost in an art museum.

If you work with me, expect thoughtful questions, a collaborative mindset, and design solutions that bring clarity to complexity. If you want to connect, or just say hi: juliapak92@gmail.com.
